BOARD OF SUPERVISORS
MINUTES - February 24, 2009

The Scott Township Board of Supervisors met on the above date in the Municipal Building, 350 Tenny Street (Espy), Bloomsburg, PA. The meeting was called to order at 7:00 p.m. and opened with the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag. In attendance were Supervisors Jeffrey Dawson, Frederick Ackerman, Jr., Chris Brewer, William Hafner, and Maintenance Supervisor Donald Coleman. Also in attendance were: Solicitor C Brian Crane, Police Chief Raymond Klingler, and Secretary/Treasurer Eric Stahley.

QUESTIONS FROM THE AUDIENCE
None appearing.

APPROVAL OF MINUTES
Minutes of the February 10, 2009 meeting were presented for approval. Mr. Hafner made a motion to approve the minutes as presented. Mr. Brewer seconded and the motion carried 5-0.

APPROVAL OF BILLS TO BE PAID
The General Fund bills to be paid were presented as check numbers 9953—9977 for $25,257.99. Liquid Fuel Fund bills to be paid were presented as check numbers 1332—1334 for $2,918.39. In addition, Park Board Fund bills to be paid were presented as check numbers 404—405 for $234.54. Mr. Brewer made a motion to approve the bills to be paid, totaling $28,410.92. Mr. Hafner seconded and the motion carried 5-0.

SUBDIVISION & LAND DEVELOPMENT
Regarding the Developer’s Agreement for Coles Hardware, Inc., Mr. Crane gave an overview. Mr. Coleman made a motion to authorize the Chairman and Secretary to sign the Agreement. Mr. Brewer seconded and the motion carried 5-0.

OLD BUSINESS
Mr. Brewer made a motion to accept the resignation of Ms. Jill Johnson as secretary from the Planning Commission. Mr. Ackerman seconded and the motion carried 5-0.

NEW BUSINESS
Mr. Stahley presented information for Park Grant C2P2. He will investigate applying this grant toward the Lightstreet tennis court repairs. The grant would cover 50% of the cost and the Township would be responsible for the other 50%.

Mr. Hafner made a motion to adjourn the meeting. Mr. Brewer seconded. Motion carried 5-0; meeting adjourned at 7:06 p.m.
